As I've mentioned before,
spam can be entertaining sometimes. Today's message from Hiawatha Groom
(to "Cherie Dillow") is one of the most interesting yet. Since I only read messages in plain text, all I saw was gibberish:
UlMeAmCeVaLeXaPrViCi
trribilelivinaopagal
amdiaenbrexumtraxeciarais
$3 $3 $1

My curiosity piqued , I actually dared viewed the HTML version and saw this

instead:
Now I was really curious what was going on, so I checked the source code to find a pretty clever use of the CSS float attribute:
<DIV><FONT face=Courier>
<DIV style="FLOAT: left;">tr<BR>ri<BR>bi<BR>le<BR>li<BR>vi<BR>na<BR>op<BR>ag<BR>al</DIV>
<DIV style="FLOAT: left;">am<BR>dia<BR>en<BR>brex<BR>um<BR>tra<BR>x<BR>ecia<BR>ra<BR>is</DIV>
<DIV style="FLOAT: left;"><BR><BR><BR><BR> $3<BR><BR><BR><BR> $3<BR> $1</DIV>
<DIV style="FLOAT: left;"><BR><BR><BR><BR>.75<BR><BR><BR><BR>.33<BR>.21</DIV>

I must also tip my hat to the decision to use Courier font for the message, so it looks like plain text to the unsuspecting reader. I am a little disappointed, given that Hiawatha has obviously gone to the trouble of learning CSS, that he resorted to a FONT tag, but really that is a small blemish on this otherwise masterful piece of spam. Bravo!
